The characteristic of telex communication
The telex is a service for subscribers with which help they can be informed directly and temporarily among themselves. For inclusion of the Subscriber in the Baku Telex station between the Baku Telegraph and the Subscriber the Contract which regulates mutual relations of the parties consists.
The service the Telex is characterised by following special qualities:
• Direct communication between both terminal terminals (intermediate storing in a network of telex communication is absent)
• The instant press of transferred and accepted messages on both terminal terminals (the message cannot after that be manipulated; it is instantly accessible to the further processing)
• Always is present and the telex device of the identification (the gauge of system of the identification) in terminal equipment is especially carefully protected against manipulations.
• Constant operational readiness of terminal equipment (24 hour operating mode, does not require service for reception of messages)
• Telex dialogue between operators of terminal terminals (a mutual exchange of texts) is possible
• Identical representation of the message on transferring and accepting devices (management of the printer for reproduction without distortions of signs and lines)
• Identical format of the press on transferring and accepting devices (69 signs on a line, an "infinite" printing paper)
• Various representations of transferred and accepted cable signs in the printing text (for example, a direct italic font)
• Blocking of transfer and message reception at occurrence of infringements of work of the terminal terminal (for example, the printing paper has come to an end)
• The minimum stock of signs for telex communications (international cable code N2)
Speed of transfer 50 Bod(400 signs in a minute)
System RealTelex provides rendering of following services:
• Connection to Telex station by switching access through the Telephone system.
• Connection to Telex station through a network the Internet.
• Conducting telex negotiations in real time with the subscriber of the Global Telex network.
• Transfer by the subscriber of telegrammes on telex communication.
• Transfer by the subscriber of the telex message on a fax.
• Possibility of conducting high-speed telex negotiations between subscribers of system RealTelex.
• Transfer by the subscriber of telex messages with use of system with intermediate accumulation.
Brief information on system REAL TELEX
Program RealTelex works on the basis of operational system Windows (95/98/2000/NT4 a server and a workstation) and gives functions of telex transfer in real time. Subscribers RealTelex are connected to local telex station by means of modems and switched telephone lines or through a global network under report TCP/IP.
Connection stage
To the subscriber program Real Telex is established. For this purpose to the given subscriber certain telex number from the list of numbers of local telex station is allocated and fixed behind it.
As a rule, this number is a part of an auto answer of subscriber RealTelex.
At a stage of connection of the subscriber to telex station there is a check of an auto answer of the subscriber and the access password.
Connection establishment
Subscriber Real Telex establishes direct connections directly with the subscriber necessary for it. In case of an entering call on subscriber RealTelex the telex station dials telephone number of the computer of the subscriber and устанавлив ает telex connection in real time.
If the station cannot establish connection with subscriber RealTelex depending on a configuration of the concrete subscriber the entering telex call can be rejected or is processed with preservation of the text of the message in a mail box for the subsequent delivery to the addressee.
Messages at station are stored in coded form that excludes possibility of their perusal not the addressee.
The program of data transmission with intermediate accumulation
Except functions of real time program RealTelex allows to send messages through system with intermediate accumulation (Store and Forward) when messages at first are transferred to telex station, and then are delivered to the addressee. The system with intermediate accumulation is a component of telex station and has a number of advantages:
• Processing of multiple-address messages
• Packet transmission of messages on same number without a release and a repeated establishment of connection
• Check of conformity of the expected and received auto answer
• Delivery of messages to a telex or to a fax
Notices on delivery or nondelivery of messages are transferred by telex station to program RealTelex at each next connection of the subscriber to station. There is a function конфигурирования periodic connections of subscriber RealTelex to station for reception of notices of system with intermediate accumulation, and also messages kept in a mail box of the subscriber. If the subscriber uses connection with ст анцией through a global network under report TCP/IP for immediate reception of notices constantly enough to be in a connection condition.
The basic functions of the program include:
• The editor of messages supporting import of test files
• Dialogue mode of telex connection in a mode of real time
• Transfer of the prepared texts of messages to a mode of real time
• Transfer of one-or multiple-address messages through system with intermediate accumulation on a telex and-or a fax
• Automatic preservation of the text of all telex connections
• Listing of entering or proceeding connections automatically or on demand
• Access protection to station by means of the password set by the subscriber
• Enciphering of all data transferred between subscriber RealTelex and station
Additional functions include

• Repeated call before typed telex numbers
• Realisation of a call by means of instructions of the minicode transformed to telex number
• Directory of names for often used telex numbers
• Automatic transformation defined by the subscriber not telex symbols in sequence of telex signs
• Automation of periodic connection of subscriber RealTelex to station
• Automatic reception of entering calls or preservation in a mail box at telex station of texts of entering connections
